Just an excellent fit for a brief pit stop in Peebles with all in all brilliant value for money. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic—super hot, super tasty, and plenty for all. Make sure to try the dinner menu, but keep expectations in check as some dishes can be hit or miss.

The location offered a fantastic chance to cater to different interests, especially with golf nearby. The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed relaxing meals in a laid-back atmosphere. Just a heads-up, the rooms could get a bit warm at night.

I recently stayed for one night with my partner and enjoyed lovely food throughout, particularly at dinner. The Eddleston suite was spacious and the historical charm added to our experience. the bathroom could use some updates as it felt dated. The grounds with the Polish Map of Scotland were a wonderful surprise and perfect for a stroll!

For £171 a night, I expected a tad more than a shabby room with that ol' fish and chips aroma creeping in. The bathroom? Scratched walls and mismatched bits had me questioning if I was at a four-star or a travel lodge.
